The Golden Dragon is a rare Horned Chinese Dragon with wings. The wings are an adaptation for highland living, unique to Golden Dragons, a sub-species of Chinese Dragon. Golden Dragons live in the mountains of eastern and central Asia, where their wings enable them to travel easily.


Scientific Name: Draco aurum

Characteristics: The most compelling characteristic of the Golden Dragon is its color, of course, But the brilliant sparkle hides fine details, such as closely knit scales, large horns, and a fabulous crest.

Size and Color: Brilliant gold covers the body of this 6 ¾ inch Golden Dragon figure, with a more muted gold coating its wings, horns, and adornments. Red eyes provide a splash of contrast.

The Golden Dragon is part of the Dragons collection.
