Description:
The New Orleans Greys were a Militia unit that fought in the Texan War of Independence. Raised in 1835 in the City of New Orleans from volunteers who supported Texan Independence.They were organised in to two companies each commanded by a Captain and were better equipped and more disciplined than many of the other volunteer units.
