Description:

Swiss Pikemen.
We've designed these figures as Swiss Pikemen in French employ during the 1665-1680 period. They are illustrated wearing full armour where other pikemen were abandoning the practice. These figures also have a couple of little fashion features that mark them out as Swiss.
The Swiss Guard in the French army are a particularly important unit.
This pack contains 6 random figures from the selection shown.
North Star 1672 figures are 28mm sized, made of metal and supplied unpainted. Swiss Pikemen need a wire pike, not supplied. Buy our wire spear pack nss102 if you don't want to make your own, they are best cut to 75mm long for an accurate length.
